Hampton is in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, and The White House is an independent community centre where lots of activities take place. Rooms and halls are available for hire.
Clubs, classes and meetings at The White House include: playgroup, childminders' drop-in, parents & toddlers, drama and youth drama, embroidery, fitness (gentle aerobics, 'legs, tums & bums' and stretch & tone), bingo, dancing (ballet, modern, tap, jazz, ballroom and Scottish Country) , art (art circle, watercolours, fun art for children and fun art for adults), badminton, bowls for over-50s, table tennis, French for fun and French for children, bridge, model railway, indoor bowls, and ladies' and men's barbershop choruses.
There is a social club with league darts and cribbage and the all-weather sports pitch is available for hire for tennis, netball and five-a-side football.
Travelling by bus
Two buses stop outside the centre:
Bus 111 Heathrow to Kingston (and vice versa)
Bus R70 Richmond to Hampton (and vice versa)
Travelling by car
From the A308 Upper Sunbury Road, turn into Percy Road. Continue on over the railway crossing. When you reach the crossroads, continue straight on into The Avenue. The White House is located on the left-hand side just past a bend to the right. Turn in just past the bus stop, where you will find FREE parking on site.
Rehearsal room
At The White House, if the doors will not open, then the security system is in place. Press the buzzer and ask for Thameside Harmony. When you are inside the building, you will find our rehearsal room on your left on the ground floor, just past the lift. Come straight in, a warm welcome awaits you.
