Our visit to Whitegates Residential Home at Laleham was very well received by both staff and residents. It was lovely to see them all again, and to meet the newcomers. Christine, MD for the day, was very skilful in her conducting, and she provided some amusing introductions to her selection of songs. Quite a few of our new recruits were making their debut, and although nervous to begin with, they soon got in the swing of it, and all reported that they enjoyed the experience immensely.

Many songs were sung, the junior staff particularly enjoyed dancing to 'Under the Boardwalk', there are even photographs to prove it ! After expending all that energy, a very welcome cup of tea was in order, with Brian, one of our most loyal fans, in charge of the tea ceremony.

Thankyou Whitegates for the wonderful welcome you always give us, and not least for the mountainous plate of chocolate cake, not to mention the biscuits too. We intend to come along and see you all again later on in the year.
